I always tend to put on a bit of weight between October and January. A combination of less opportunity for excercise due to weather and darkness and greater opportunity for eating and drinking out in the evenings. Soon comes off again as spring approaches.
Focus on the long term goal rather than short term blips, one way or the other.
Mum calls it 'Winter Weight' !
