Cat hit on Doxey Road

Youngest has just seen a adult cat hit by a taxi along the Doxey Road in Castletown @00.10. 2 ladies driving a red Citreon Berlingo (Could have been similar make) have taken it home, and I suppose they will take it a vet asap.
Mainly black, with a white stripe on the nose and white toes.
White taxi, no idea of the firm. Indian driver, wearing a turban. He drove around the roundabout to the Sainsburys entrance, obviously knew he'd hit sumat, then turned up Castle Street afterwards

Just been told by the lady who picked him/her up, the poor thing has died. Such a shame,

250,000th poster!
So sad, our Tommy-cat was hit & killed by a car a few years ago - the lady driver took the time to knock on doors till she found us for which I was grateful .

That is so sad :( RIP puss and feel for the owners as well . @Glam Glad your son and the 2 ladies took the time to try to help the poor cat

It was a male cat, no chip. They took him to Vets For Pets.
Got a bit of a distraught lad at the mo, he's never seen a hit and run before, comes on the heels of Sooty Cat just over a month ago too.
