Store detective is on holidayReliant?
Do people not insure their pets?
Pre-existing conditions usually won't be covered and where they are they would likely be very expensive indeed.
It's easier to sling some cash into a savings pot and hope you never need to use it.

Why on earth would they do that?
That brings back memories of my parents milk bottles sitting on the doorstep, with the foil tops sitting on top of about an inch of milky ice lolly in the winter (complete with birds tucking in)Where are you going to get the foil topped glass milk bottles to feed him from?

Tits like coconuts......
Are you referring to any particular lady here?
How crap is that?Well, our dog, who has since died was on lifelong medication, and lots of it, and as this illness presented itself within the first 2 weeks of having him, the insurance sadly didnt cover it. Park House displayed great care with our dog and did a great job but we sourced the drugs elsewhere and only required the repeat prescription. There was 3 sets of drugs but when asked if they could combine them, they said no. We found that Island Vets would and so we moved our dog to Island Vets. No acrimony, we thanked Park House for their care and registered my dog with a different practice.
This is where it got a little tetchy. Park House wouldnt and didnt send the records over for our dog, and then one evening we had a call, as we had moved one dog, they felt it would be better that we moved our cat and elderly dog as well. An elderly dog that had fairly complex issues, that had been under their care for many years and was a regular visitor to Park House. We had been struck off so to speak.
So that was that, in the last few years Island Vets look after my pets, and they have shown great compassion when I lost one dog prematurely and the elderly dog at the end of his life. Ben was well within his rights to not combine prescriptions, but I felt it was mean and vindictive to strike off an elderly dog with fairly complex issues that had been under his care for many years.
I see Donnachie & Townley have opened up in the old Shaw Trust place by Currys.
And there's some sort of beauty parlour in the old Mothercare / Moben / Dolphin shop.
