I haven't been in the Shrew in its Black Country Ales incarnation, so can't comment on the wankstaininess or otherwise of the current management but, given that it takes at least a few days to settle and tap a keg of ale, is this not more likely to be a coincidence than anything else?

I don't believe he's advertised any other beers like this before so I'm not sure if it is a coincidence really.

A quick look at Facebook shows regular advertisements by them in exactly the same style. Coincidence nothing more.

Dunno about regular, 4 since the start of feb? But yeah, seems like a possible coincidence. Still think he's a twat but not because of the beer advertising :xd:

Please, no. It's way too early for the C word.
Mrs T has been hoarding presents in the garage since before last Christmas.

I didn't say the C word, honest. I just referred to the Bird taking bookings for a certain event that may involve crackers, a big tree, an old git in an ill fitting red suit, old repeats on TV, over eating, over drinking and of course little baby cheeses.

August Monday early bird offer - £2.80 a pint for either BFG, Fireside or Pig on the Wall until 18.00.

I think a bulk order coming on about 17.55 :)
