It still exists! I was an avid roller-skater in the 80's & 90's.Wow, roller skating rink. That takes me back a bit … There used to be one in St Patrick's Street many years ago. I doubt the pastime could live in the modern world … haven't even seen roller skates for many years, but I'd like to see it.
I skated regularly back then, moving with all the subtlety and grace of a Russian battle tank.

A friend of mine moved to Llandudno last summer and found a weekly roller-disco there which she attends!

Give it a go - a few good falls might do the physiotherapy for you...Just wow! Thanks for the thought, although I don't think it's aimed at nearly 50yr olds with a love of speed skating on Bauer skates (I had to have them as a joint birthday & Christmas present in 1984 as they were 'that' expensive) I've never even tried inline skates (are they still a thing?)

I've not skated for 30yrs! I have never roller skated in my life! My big sister used have those ones you had alter with a key, and the little one had proper boot ones.I've not skated for 30yrs!
