Were campaign medals ever issued?
The more interesting thing about the UK fishing farago, quite apart from the shocking revelation that Brexit MEP's are completely clueless, is that there are two immutable truths about the fishing rights to UK waters -
'We' eat what is fished off the coast of Iceland and up towards Norway
- 'we' don't eat what is fished from our waters
- 'they' do
'They' buy all the bits 'n' bobs that 'we' couldn't even name.
Cod 'n' Haddock are not what is found off John 'O' Groats or Land's End.
I'd be interested to hear from @BobClay what the 'rules of engagement' might be if 'we' suddenly needed to redeploy RN vessels to protect our fishing 'interests' around the Blighty coast?
Had this discussion a few days ago with possiblyMrsMonkey, apparently the cod wars are much better known about over there. We're rather ignorant about the whole thing, which plays into brexiteers hands nicely.
Potential MrsMonkey you say?? So that really was your stag do in Ayo Gorkali last week then
It should be like MOTs - three years free, then an annual reinstallation. We've had the discussion, we've agreed to tolerate each other for a while and reassess at a later date
No.Remember the "Cod Wars"
* proper intrigued with the whole 'possiblyMrsMonkey' thing though *
I hear they hoard all the jobs, a bit like dragons. I reckon she has several in the boot of her car.Bloody benefit claiming job stealers. They are the worst.
I'm assuming we've passed the @shoes-style Cheap Date scenario. She has been upgraded
Mrs p, who hails from abroad, once had a note to that effect placed under her wiper when parked outside her shop in Nantwich. Ironic considering she employs 25 people now in one place or another now.Bloody benefit claiming job stealers..

Is she in First Class or Business...?
