Glad you said that. We don't normally shop there, but got a £5 off coupon , so was going to go at the weekend. Will choose my shopping times more carefullyThe car park was bedlam the other day, people keep driving straight not realising the road has been blocked off and then trying to turn, holding up a que behind them and people not being able to get out the other side or people being able to pass. I will be avoiding lidl at busy times from now on.
I generally apply an After Eight policy.Glad you said that. We don't normally shop there, but got a £5 off coupon , so was going to go at the weekend. Will choose my shopping times more carefully
Got to wonder if they'll stay there?
It also wants to relocate its existing stores in Lower Street, Newcastle, and Madford Retail Park, Stafford, and open a second in each town.
The (now-vandalised) car park down the side was the nicest car park in Stafford.Just found the £5 voucher I was going to use to pay Lidl a rare visit. Hadn't become valid when I originally was going to go, just checked and it's now expired yesterday. Probably won't ever bother going again ,hearing of carparking being bedlam. (Never liked parking in the carpark by the store when we did used to go years ago anyway, got close to getting a dent whilst parked each time from reversing cars and runaway trolleys. Mainly parked in the one across the road when we did go)
I was there yesterday, the space where the carpark was looks huge, are you sure they're not building a 8 lane motorway? The (now-vandalised) car park down the side was the nicest car park in Stafford.
We did the same on Saturday. We weren't there for a "big shop" - just for one specific item - so not too much to carry across the carpark. The traffic was dreadful when we arrived, but OK'ish when we left.I was in Lidl as well yesterday didnt even bother attempting to park on their car park, went straight to the one opposite.
