Also do really nice fresh cream horns , the sort we used to make in the bakery . A lot nicer than the supermarket boxed ones. Just had to have one , and hopefully they have them each week we go in from now . Along with the scotch eggs and cornish pasties which were so tasty. ( Bang goes the diet again...). Looking forwards to the farm made crisps later.Chase the Rainbow farm shop.
It closed down last year for a few months then reopened under new management.
The lady that now owns it is doing a marvellous job and it’s much improved from the previous owners.
As you will have noticed, everything is super fresh and top notch.
It’s on the main A34 Cannock Road, just by the turning for Bednall.
It’s definitely worth a visit. Not just vegetables and fruit, but jams, cakes, home made pies, sausages, bacon, cheese, just really lovely things.
Got a couple of big tubs of 'Reindeer Tracks' ice cream as well . Also bought a joint for tomorrows dinner, gammon steaks, chicken portions, jars of stuff , and loads of fruit & veg. Will get my eggs and cheeses from there next week as well.
Could have bought the whole shop ! Glad hubby suggested popping in for ''a couple of things'' whilst filling up with petrol nearby.
