The speakers have been mounted in their intended location, at last, though the connections still have to be established. The speakers have had their connections established and a trial run was performed, taking the wires off the Chalet's indoor speakers. They performed excellently, the units are coaxial and probably capable of more than my ears can receive now. The ports were worth doing, covering them does reduce the 'body' of the sound. I just need to mount them and run the wiring now.

There was (is?) a plan to grow something suitable up that and fit this at the bottom, but it is not very high up on the agenda. That looks a bit like the 'Iron Throne' to the right of the door ....
It's a bit late, but not really, so where are they?
Today was clearly going to be reliably drizzly here, so I decided to do the pressure washer lead extension, despite it being the second day of our hosepipe ban...The old fly-lead that was powering the floodlight can now be transferred to the pressure-washer, to replace the too-short lead that has annoyed me for years.
As mentioned elsewhere.Lobelia - I hacked a load back last night.

I remembered that happening - and bore it in mind all the way through the procedure...I did the same with my 18-55mm. OH fixed it but then managed to rip a ribbon cable when reassembling it. We were going on holiday a week later so I ordered an 18-200 mm whilst waiting 2 months for the cable to come. I've hardly used my camera since.
