Had all week but due to various excuses only got round to doing it today!

Ended up doing day 1&2 runs - must be fitter than I thought!

Friends joining me haven't been much motivation - ones a drunk and the other fell over on the first run and scraped her knees!

It is designed for anyone to start, so yeah you may be above the initial few weeks. If you find yourself outpacing the program you can still keep it on for motivation, thats what I did. End of week 3 I decided to just run, ignored what Jo Whiley was telling me to do but kept the voice there for encouragement.

In all seriousness, son & daughter in law are both doing this & love it, the eldest & his oh are seasoned runners already.

I couldn't run for a bus, scraped knees & drunk or not.

Good on you all x

How are you getting on?

Really well!

Week three on the app, when it kicked it up to 3mins run I was thinking 'nope' !!

But it really has built my stamina over time and I found it fine!

Helped that I saw a really cute dog that distracted my for a while rather than thinking about running!!

On week 4 now!

Thought it took a massive leap going to 5mins run today but I did it!

The two friends I roped in gave up after week one - I am THAT person still posting my runs in the WhatsApp group to annoy them!!
The one that fell over, and the one that was drunk? :D My day off tomorrow, I shall look at the yoga moves.... Can't be any worse than what the physio sends me via email...

Glad you're sticking with it!

I used to do my best runs after a heavy night out, very strange! Virtually stopped drinking since lockdown though and improved dramatically so there could be a link there I suppose.

Ugh I couldn't move after a night out let a lone run!

We've cut down in the last few weeks too - feel 100% better for it!

So, how you getting on?

Got to admit I've fallen off the wagon a bit!

In my defence I'm in the middle of buying a house - as I'm sure you know the most stressful thing EVER!

There was almost an intervention on the 'What's for Dinner' thread as I listed 'Tequila' and 'Cider' as actual weekly meal options.....

I'm on week 5, and even though I haven't run since last week I still feel good about it and know it's achievable!

I won't give up I promise!
