Enjoy. Mrs T has recently sold her leathers so no more bikey hols for us.He only got it because I said I would go on the back occasionally, so I am sure we will use it for days out and maybe the occasional camping trip to the Peak District.
I hated going on the back of the VFR so hopefully this will be better.Enjoy. Mrs T has recently sold her leathers so no more bikey hols for us.
The last time I rode pillion, many years ago, my mate riding the bike gunned it down Crooked Bridge Road. I was convinced at the time I was going to come off and going to die. Never again.I hated going on the back of the VFR so hopefully this will be better.
There seems to be a big crop this year. This cycle happens every 2-5 years. Conditions must have been very good this year judging by the size and amount of acorns i've seen.Mowing the lawn today I noticed my Oak Tree (which I planted at about the size of a Dandelion 12 years ago) has got acorns on it !!! I've never seen it do that before.
Perhaps you gardening types can tell me if this is normal ...
Will defo be 'roomier'.I hated going on the back of the VFR so hopefully this will be better.
This pix shows it after I planted it in 2009 ... and the acorns now on it.
I fell off the back of my own bike at the junction of South Walls and Greengate Street. I had been persuaded to let a friend take it into town, with me on the back. For a short time, there was a No Right Turn there - he was from West Bromwich and not used to the town's roads, He slowed down to read the sign and I assumed he would go up Mill Bank, as was required at the time. I used my left hand to attempt to indicate that he really should go straight ahead. However, he was just checking the road to the right, to see if the 'coast was clear' and then dropped it sharply to run up the main street - he did this so quickly that, instinctively, my automated systems felt that getting off was the safest move, I just couldn't follow him.The last time I rode pillion, many years ago, my mate riding the bike gunned it down Crooked Bridge Road. I was convinced at the time I was going to come off and going to die. Never again.
Looks a bit like sessile oak (Quercus petraea) but the leaf stalks look a little short. Grows 20-40m tall. Could be a hybrid with the other native species. pedunculate oak (Quercus robur)
Did you get an advisory on the emissions?Just been up the hospital and had my pacemaker mot'd, seems I'm good for another 4 years at least, I wish i could get a battery like that for my phone.
As you walk in keep going straight on to the back of the store and it's there, just to the left of the escalator to the café.Finished off the last of the ciders...vowed to buy no more booze ..hubby just had a fit when I joked I might have to finish off his last half inch of expensive Japanese whisky and make a whisky and orange
He needn't panic though, it's safe...I hate whisky and got no orange juice .
With an appointment at Tesco pharmacy,(Newport Rd) next week , realising I've never actually seen a pharmacy in there before.
Anyone know whereabouts it is in the store ?
