Stafford Rangers - New Start and The Way Forward.

(and me! - Ed)
Middle Seed and I picked up ours up yesterday! You are right Mark, brilliant idea of Boro' to offer 'em slightly early and at a very attractive price! Depending how many games we end up contesting this season, it could be an absolute bargain! :slayer:

But it gives 'the faithful,' a perfect opportunity to show their support for there team, and the fans have again stepped up the the challenge, again! Built a new stand, fans bara and a variety of other developments and initiatives. When this town wakes up and looks to servicing the growth in houses and population, I hope people and businesses will look to SRFC as a true community club and investigate the opportunities for advertising, entertainment and sponsorship. :bravo:

I'm intending to go to a few games this season with my son who's bought a season ticket.

He mentioned that I would have to register to buy a ticket on the gate so does anyone know what this involves and whether entry into the stand is allowed for non season ticket holders please?

I think all clubs are putting some sort of mechanism in place and we have already looked at a pre match ticketing system. This whole situation will probably bring forward the need for such systems rather than sticking with pay on the gate. Our league schedule gets under way with a home game against Ashton United on 19th Sept and we have 3 friendlies (2home and 1 away) before then that may be allowed 600 capacities so the club will have to have a plan in place soon to cater for such numbers.

Entry into the stand for non season ticket holders is allowed, however there may be a small charge for this. I never sit in the stand so I can't be 100% sure.

When buying a season ticket there are various options including purchasing a ticket in the stand. A stand season ticket is more expensive, hence why I believe there is a small charge for doing so.

I was the ground yesterday to do some painting. To comply with the covid19 measures some rows have been taken out of use and there are loads of hand sanitizers situated around the ground.

I hope to see you and your son at games very soon.

I'm hopefully going to the stafford rangers game this Saturday. With regards to purchasing tickets for preseason friendlies, it's currently a moving feast as such i would recommend that you follow stafford rangers Facebook page or website to keep upto date.

The club is currently upping it's commercial game and there's a host of advertising possibilities. I am now helping out so if you are interested in any of these options drop me a message and I can give you more info.
We now have fans coming back to games so reach is on the up and the club also hosts many community events through the year in the ground and social club.

We currently have a range of opportunities open to clients that you may be interested in –
  • Pitch side boards (12ftx2ft) on the ground or roadside boards on Astonfields Road
  • Roof top boards on the Lotus Stand – these are the biggest boards we have and those on top of the Lotus Stand are opposite our camera positions so boards are seen on all highlights, quite prominently.
  1. Our club website hits thousands of people every week and your name could appear on this at the right price. Your banner could appear on our home page and will be the first thing people see when they visit. ***New Offer needs agreement but can listen to offers.
  2. Business Club
  • From Summer 2020 our new online business page offered at £150+VAT =£180 per year gives you a position on our website page with the chance of boosting your business offers through our social media for £50 per promotion. With 5,400 facebook followers and 12,200 twitter followers this will increase your reach!
  1. Alternatively – we have further opportunities.
Our match day programme sponsorship is –

  • £250+VAT for a full page at £300
  • £150+VAT for a half page at £180
  • £90+VAT for a quarter page at £108
  • Player and staff sponsorship is available and your name would appear against each player for £100, on our website and against the squad page in each programme.
  1. Our fixtures for the coming season are now out and we have some match or ball sponsorship packages. Can we put you on our mailing list and we will send you details of our offers?

I've just read that following local authority advice fans can only have a beer whilst seated in the social club and that standing fans will have to wear a face covering.
