It went quiet when the de Pfeffel fan club got an 80+ seat majority in the House.

Our contribution being to return perhaps the worst MP in the history of the Stafford franchise in the process. A seat that was sat on by Bill 'Eurotrash' Cash lest we forget. Quite a high bar to hurdle.

The O got there though.

Poke me in 5 years from now - i will quietly seethe in the meantime. What do you propose we do about it now?

Bromide in the tea?

Will the shit exuding from exploding portaloos be easily distinguished from the shit that has just been dispersed by hitting the fan?

I don't suppose it will really matter in the end.

A turd, by any other name, would still smell as foul.

Yep. They have to register and pay VAT here, because HMRC don’t have the capacity to check stuff coming from everywhere in the world.

Which to me just says: if you do business as usual, don’t bother with VAT, you’ll probably get through customs without it being checked or having to pay import duty.

Isn't there an extra bit in the new rules that says if the seller abroad dosn't follow the rules, then the recipient in the UK is liable?

But for smaller businesses on the continent it's more likely for them to conclude that trading with Britain is more trouble than it's worth.
