Not helped by the diverted M6 traffic, which according to the SBC will be diverted again this month to allow resurfacing of the M6. The joys of the M6Approach to the island lights at the end (or beginning) of Wolverhampton road is giving Corporation Street a good run for its money.
I drive this most days so know where to avoid, but the carer managed to hit everyone of them a few days ago...I can vouch for one on the Chell Road between Doxy Road and the crossing outside of Sainsbury's, Mrs C was less than impressed with my driving this morning after failing to avoid it. The worst culprit use to be the dropped drain cover on the A449 past Dunston Business Park. Hit it once and you remembered, you could always tell the locals as they gave it a wide berth.
Yes, definitely a toss-up between Corporation Street & Crooked Bridge Road. Both are like the surface of the bloody moon!.Left out of St Georges and play hopscotch with the potholes, carry on till you reach Crooked Bridge rd, then stop start all the way down, as you go round the potholes and avoid going into oncoming traffic.
You could do the same journey in reverse and still come up as many potholes on the opposite side of both roads. Get to St.Georges, and the main entrances to both entrys are starting to break up, followed by a load of potholes on site.
Holmcroft Rd, massive pot holes on and between speed bumps
The deep one along the white lines between the Aldi lights & the Lammascote lights (Asda) is still there along with the not quite so deep ones just past it.Queensway, although these may now have been filled.
Didn’t even know I could.Straight up question, how many of us report the potholes via the council website? Must admit I'm lax in this respect...
