Worst Pot Holes in Stafford.

Don’t know if this would be counted as insurrection but what about arming yourself with a can of white spray paint to circle any you find. Even if nothing gets done it would alert other road users to avoid them (?)
Cost a small fortune in cans of paint!

Oh bugger, my mind’s racing now ! It could be like litter picking with teams tackling a new section of road each day (“Birnam Wood’s on the move - and the roads are turning . . . WHITE !”)

Or you could highlight them by putting a mixture of tar and sand in them.

A few years ago Mrs T successfully claimed for a new wheel and tyre after hitting a pothole just outside Ranton.

I've just reported the big pothole at the Stone Road roundabout when approaching from Beaconside and got an email back thanking me for reporting a pothole on the linkway path from "ALDERSHAW TO REDH". I don't even think there is a footpath from Aldershaw to the A34 is there?

No wonder there are so many potholes if the reporting system doesn't recognise where you've placed the pointer which was smack bang in the middle of the A513 at the roundabout!!!

At least we won't have any pedestrian slips, trips and falls if they fix all of the footpaths instead of the roads :)

I do wonder just why those that are repaired are reverting back to how they were just a few months later.
IE : that "hole" on the bend going out of Stafford on the Sandon Rd just past the Hopton Garage (on the next bend) that every car was driving around that had been there for at least a year AND had clearly been noted by being painted by those who inspect these things twice in that time (spray paint had worn away each time)
In the summer (well it did arrive for a spell) all those holes that were along that stretch were sorted, but, the one on the bend is now growing each day so will soon be back to its former glory.

Because there is an underlying issue that's causing it I would think. Round here they just spray the pot holes, so water still gets in and it doesn't take long to break up again.

That one has been there most of the time for the last three years - and I have seen new paint around it at least three times.
