Tonight jacket potatoes with beans and cheese!
Sometimes the simple things are the best!
We do jacket potatoes with mackerel or prawns most weeks. My 7 year old loves mashed jacket potatoes and eats a whole packet of smoked mackerel. Happy to keep doing it every week if he eats and enjoys it.
We also do soup and toasties as well ... like you say simple things.

Lots of roasted things...

Roast pork & crackling
Roast potatoes
Roast carrots
Celeriac mash (roasted with butter first)
Yorkshire puds, gravy, stuffing & apple sauce.

It could all turn out very badly* as I've not had to properly cook for the last year, with the carer being furloughed. Fingers crossed.

*because I've been sat on the patio drinking g & t's in the sun instead of paying attention to tea.

I’m behind on what we’ve had for tea.

Been very lazy over the last few days so quick easy cook food.

Friday, prawn pasta, spaghetti, jar of char grilled peppers, pesto etc.

Saturday, home made pizza, made with sun dried tomatoes, peppers, onions, pepperoni. Massive salad.

Tonight, breaded Panko prawns, breaded calamari, massive salad, included a few avocados that needed using up.

All quick and easy but very tasty.

I hope you're recycling bread crusts for the calamari.
:heyhey:

No need, the calamari was a cheat from Aldi.
Breaded calamari with soy and sweet chilli, frozen in a bag.
Very nice it was too.

Tonight it’s roast chicken and a hot and cold salad.

Homemade beetroot burgers and a whopping big salad!

Considering I had cake for breakfast today can only get healthier....
I'm no better, I had half a packet of Hobnob creams in bed for breakfast.... :yay:

Left over roast pork, stuffing, apple sauce, a dollop of English mustard, all in Brioche baps for tea.

@Trumpet 's tea sounds good (minus the sweet potato please).
