wanna see my snake?
As a child I always wanted to be a squirrel - that unfortunately didn't work out for me!!

In the end I've had all sorts of jobs!

Retail, office work, garden centre staff, I had a short stint at a beauty pageant company for a while....

I've been a youth worker, envelope packer and finally settled in teaching!

Yet five years down the line I now work as a civil servant for the Scottish government (I don't want to say exactly what online but it's to do with trees!!)

I don't know where life is going to take me but I've enjoyed the ride so far!
Got a mate who moved to Scotland and works with trees!

Some one, (it might be me) finished work early (could be me), and happy that they have a few days holiday, might have decided to celebrate by sitting in the afternoon sun & pretend they were at the beach.... Someone (it was me) didn't bother to put suncream on, because 'it's not that warm'....

..... Someone is now very sunburnt.

Oops...

Just back from a nice walk along the beach with the family and dogs. Now the difficult decision as to what takeaway to order and which bottle of wine to open.

Sometimes life is so bloody hard.

I forgot to mention but when I went up the Chase the other day, I stopped at one of the picnic benches on Milford Common and the grass was absolutely strewn with blue confetti from a gender reveal gathering. Those things are stupid enough, but seeing the mess that had been left behind really pee'd me off.
Pissed me off walking over the chase lately seeing all the disposable masks and Costa cups strewn everywhere. If they can make the effort to carry their food & drink right over to the stepping stones half way up the valley ( by the pumping station) , how come they can't pack it all up and take it all home , or to a bin on their way home afterwards.

It's because they're ignorant pigs who don't give a stuff about anything other than themselves.

Having elderly relatives in a care home during this is just the worst thing, especially if - as is the case with my nan - they have dementia. She's not able to grasp why we can't visit and thinks everyone has fallen out with her since only two people visit her now (since late last year, only two nominated visitors have been allowed for window and now indoor visits). It's heart-breaking.

Got a house full of smoke again.:o Was in the front bedroom getting dressed after my shower , didn't notice the bloody great big bonfire/ BBQ ,over the back near my fence, start up yet again and had left the patio windows open .

Oh well , that's the spagbol & wine on the patio plan scuppered yet again. Blowing straight at our patio yet again :(
