"CASES
Cases peaked on 17th July with 48k a day. They then dropped down to 26k each day on 1st August. Since then the rolling average has crept back up to 30k.
HOSPITALS
Hospitalisations per day peaked on 23rd July at 909. It dropped slightly, but is still at 803. Similar to early March. Neither the number of overall people in hospital nor the number of people on ventilators has dropped since peak. They are 6,321 and 925 respectively. Similar to mid-March.
DEATHS
The number of people dying within 28 days of a positive test has not dropped since cases peaked. The seven-day average is currently 93.6. Similar to mid-March. 89.6% of adults in the UK have had 1st dose of vaccine. 77.5% have had two doses."
