I was a bit unsure of the status of masks on our trains to be honest, the announcements certainly made it sound like it was still mandatory ("wear a mask unless you're exempt for valid health reasons" etc) rather than personal choice.

Interestingly, there actually seems to be real evidence that those suffering from paranoia and delusions may, indeed, be negatively impacted by wearing masks, and by interacting with mask wearers.

There may be specific guidelines for trains, I'm not sure, but the official general guidance remains -

"We expect and recommend that people continue to wear face coverings in crowded spaces."

Holmcroft Vaccination Centre to shut weekdays from next month

GP surgeries want the contracts to supply joint flu and booster jabs

Plus 12 to 17 year old Moderna vaccines

Cash from Chaos

250,000th poster!
Wouldn't that mean GP surgeries have to see patients again?

They'll take the cash then chuck a needle at patients out in the freezing rain in the car park and tell them to do it themselves.
Ours already is...... Or maybe I'm special... I've seen all manner of people face to face in the last month, consultants, Dr's, nurses, and the physiotherapist....

That’s always assuming they actually answer the phone when you try to book an “appointment” (for appointment read: a phone call at a time to suit them sometime a few days in the future). The “appointment” will enable the gp to decide if they wish to see you in person at which point you’ll then be told to call reception & book an appointment sometime in the distant future. ( if they answer the fecking phone!!!)
I’ve spent an enjoyable 30 minutes at my dentist today where she was leaning over me peering into my mouth wearing only a face mask & visor.
Edit: I’ve just reread this & should point out that she wa also wearing her uniform etc.
Edited again: I was also fully dressed but not wearing a mask etc. :heyhey::heyhey:

That's got me sitting here in the hairdressers giggling like a nutter

Masks required for walking around the salon in this hairdressers , but can take off whilst sitting having hair done if you want. Good to see hairdressers all still masked up and plenty of sanitiser about still ( noticed in some shops seems a lack of it now)

This gives a pretty good summary of where we are currently.

"CASES
Cases peaked on 17th July with 48k a day. They then dropped down to 26k each day on 1st August. Since then the rolling average has crept back up to 30k.

HOSPITALS
Hospitalisations per day peaked on 23rd July at 909. It dropped slightly, but is still at 803. Similar to early March. Neither the number of overall people in hospital nor the number of people on ventilators has dropped since peak. They are 6,321 and 925 respectively. Similar to mid-March.

DEATHS
The number of people dying within 28 days of a positive test has not dropped since cases peaked. The seven-day average is currently 93.6. Similar to mid-March. 89.6% of adults in the UK have had 1st dose of vaccine. 77.5% have had two doses."

My latest Lat Flow self testing kits from the pharmacy are different to previous ones. Only have to swab your nose with these, and not back of throat as well. And results in 15 minutes instead of 30 minutes for previous ones.

Looks like Bloodstock was a spreader event (I know somebody who has tested positive and several friends say they know loads of people who also have). Surprising as I honestly thought an outdoor event with covid measures in place would be relatively safe, but I guess the combination of alcohol, singing plus it being long enough (5 days) for people who tested negative to become positive are factors.

I'm sure they're all just crisis actors, all the doctors are lying to stick with the government narrative, all the scientists are aslo lying, all over the world, in a concerted effort to make us have an experimental drug so that they can...

And thats where I'm lost TBH, because nobody ever gets to the why part.

This chip - would it have all my passwords, PINs, etc?

Sounds handy.

It could do birthdays, MOT expiry, to do list..

The two jabs I've had don't seem to have that facility enabled yet.
