Just hoping this ordered one turns up now , and hoping I can make it to the station without turning green. Ordered ot in plenty of time so that I can get out and walk if need be and meet them at the station on time

No taxis at the station when we got off the train. Just called Westside whilst we stood waiting and they picked us up more or less straight away.

So the trip to the Bird didn't materialise then?

No , unfortunately didn't go as planned. Hubby had a fall last night which has really knocked him about , so he just wanted to get home today once we got off the train.
Will save the Bird for another day during hubbys holiday, and get Westside for the taxi back. They were good when picking us up to take us to the station the other day as well.

Nor us. I'll have lemonade if I'm driving .
That's the only thing that's putting us off a good night out around town at the moment, wondering if we'll get a taxi back. Don't mind walking to town to start the night off , but our days of staggering back miles at the end of the night are well over.

If you pre-book a taxi or allow plenty of time to wait for one it isn't really a problem plus there are buses going up towards Baswich/Wildwood later on in the evening.
