Today I saw...

... my aorta.

Not directly, as it seemed best to leave it in place for now.

It was deemed to be of a reasonable (actually 'perfect') size, so I am now struck off from further scans of that, on the basis that will I almost certainly be killed by something else first.

On a similar note, I have to repeat my bowel scan, but only because the one that I've sent back was out of date by the time I had access to it.

I kept expecting me to appear here , after loads of horn peeping and hands waving out of windows, as cars drove past today.

One even stopped and then drove off as I got level ( rather worrying.:hmm:)

Still don't know who I saw supposedly recognising me

Your dress was tucked in the back of your pants. :lorks::lorks:
I did do a quick check to make sure everything was in place, and a feel to see if anyone had stuck something on my back in Aldi .

(My boss once walked the whole length of GEC down the corridors and back with her skirt tucked in her knickers , after earlier coming back from the loo and parading around the office beforehand. Being youngsters at the time we thought it was hilarious and no-one told her.)

Today I saw Electric car charging places at Holmcroft Library.

Not sure the charge things are installed yet, maybe it happens by magic when you park on the green sign.?

Someone is proposing induction chargers in the road like that, suggesting that it would be useful for things like taxi ranks. Needs special pickups on the vehicle. Plates seem to be slightly raised though (anyway, that's what I read somewhere)

I'm not sure there are currently any production wireless charging EVs for that to be the thing at Homecroft.

I had only enough for 70 miles left in the tank thus evening, and as I'm off to Manchester on Saturday I thought I'd better fill up, so did near work. Half the unleaded were out of use and the queues were huge. Thankfully us diesel guzzlers could nip right in.

Nothing was any different to 'normal' for my visit.

I was unaware of any issue until I came back and saw the reports.
