Is the brass neck really found ^there, or is it located in the Times headquarters?

One would imagine, given the Covid casualty demographics, many of them are no longer with us.

What a wonderful legacy they have left us.

Current law seems to be that the country of origin is where veg & other foodstuffs are prepared & packaged not where they are grown. But why can't Morrisons use British salt?

It may well be that their non-EU salt is British salt, but they are clearly pandering to the gammon market, really.

And that may be incurable...

Reminds me of a wedding I attended many years ago in Tunstall town hall. Not only were jeans or tracky bottoms de rigueur for the congregation but boiled beef and carrots was the highlight of the reception.

Don't even get me started on the evening do...

It was not long after my wife-to-be moved to this country and very nearly made her catch the first plane home.

When you are here, you don't really notice a lot of things, as much as you do know that they're there, but, having been outside for almost a year, what I see (more clearly) now feels me with despair.

It's like hobbling along with a stone in your shoe - you can struggling on like that for quite a way, but putting it back in, after you've taken it out for a while, it seems even worse.

Sounds like you're about ready to go back out west.

Have you ever seen geographically locatable salt and pepper on an ingredients list before? Meat obviously, dairy yes for welfare reasons, veg not really that bothered about especially if part of a meal rather than buying them whole, but seasoning?

The fact that Morrisons put union flags on so much is bad enough, but this is a little odd even by their standards.
