Just noticed that you can use things other than a thumbs up for "Like"
In another place - the Facebook reactions have dropped to three for most people :-

In fact, I don't even have 'Laugh' available there now...

Ditch the 'likes', for the love of not being facebook, ditch the 'likes'.

You probably can't if you're buying in to a platform - presumably that shit is built in, but if you can, do.

It has been the worst thing to happen to anything ever on-line.

You mustn't ever GAS if people don't 'like' what you have to say - say it anyway.

Be prepared to defend it, but don't be afraid to say it.

I come on here to escape my dreary life, it might be a few minutes, or in most cases a few hours. I get entertained, educated-a bit. Made a few friends through this site.
I may or may not like the new look, took me a while get used to the last 1. I was more concerned about Stafford Forum going off than Facebook. I don't feel like i'm entitled to moan about the changes because none of it has cost me a penny. Zilch.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Is there a way of me being able to hide the profile posts section that appears at the bottom of the forum? I've no idea what a profile posts is our why I would need use it.

That is the sidebar (it appears down the right-hand side on desktop, at the bottom on mobile). Profile posts are simply a way for people to convey a bit about themselves, sort of like a Twitter feed, or a Facebook status. For people who use profile posts, it's nice to know that their little updates will get seen (via the sidebar). You could put a post on your profile, for example, saying "Looking for a piano," and anyone visiting The Forum would see it in the sidebar.

The new style will allow you to hide the sidebar, however, so worry not.
