Have they apologised yet?King Eddie’s
Quite worrying that a school would be stupid enough to send something out that could harm both parents and pupils, I assume it will have already been pointed out to them how stupid they are but as mentioned above some will have read it and believed it. A lie told often enough becomes the new truth for many, and sending it from a 'reliable' source makes it more so.King Eddie’s
Thats almost worse, they should acknowledge that they were spreading lies.No but they have send out another email telling us to disregard it … no explanation as to why
Bring back corporal punishment! No but they have send out another email telling us to disregard it … no explanation as to why
I've corrected that for you.Bring back capital punishment!
Pomposity, incompetence and carelessness are de rigueur these day, it seems.
Is the Head considering their position ?Have they apologised yet?
I'd say be in the safe side, it's one day against people's lives. My daughter has had a positive PCR test and I’ve got a text from the NHS confirming this giving a date of next Thursday before she can go back to school, this is what her school have told me and is in line with all the information stated on the gov.uk website.
NHS Track and trace have just been on the phone arguing with me that she needs to isolate up to and including Thursday 14th so 11 days, I think is because the girl put the info in wrong as the results date not the test date of yesterday.
Does my daughter now have to isolate for 11 days because track and trace have got it wrong or is the 10 days which is the the law sufficient?
Yeah I get that, just feeling frustrated I guess and the conflicting information and the attitude of the girl on the phone didn’t help matters.I'd say be in the safe side, it's one day against people's lives.
Did you really expect anything else from the NHS/Track and Trace?Yeah I get that, just feeling frustrated I guess and the conflicting information and the attitude of the girl on the phone didn’t help matters.
That was directed at the creators and disseminators of this garbage, not at Alee.I'm not sure that directly calling someone making an honest and understandable mistake (considering the source seemed trustworthy) stupid
No.You calling me stupid ?
Both Norway and Finland are included in the above graphYou can only really compare Sweden to other similar Scandinavian countries. How does it fare?
QUOTE]
Wasn't it track and trace reduced transmission by 6%?Did I read something recently that Track and Trace has only managed to identify about 6% of all cases? I swear I did but I can't find anything now.

Son had a positive PCR test back in November ( and as soon as he had taken the test drove straight home and isolated until he got the results , just incase) .My daughter has had a positive PCR test and I’ve got a text from the NHS confirming this giving a date of next Thursday before she can go back to school, this is what her school have told me and is in line with all the information stated on the gov.uk website.

It depends if harm is binary to you, dead or not dead, with any survivors classed as not being affected? I'd say if it's harm you want to measure then hospital admissions would be a closer metric, but then a lot of people have not recovered from covid despite never being ill enough to need a bed.Is excess mortality not a good matrix for determining how well different strategies have performed to reduce harm?
