Enjoying a drop of red.
My attitude is that I simply don't understand how Ian Duncan Smith has anything whatsoever to do with The Gatehouse theatre in Stafford.I'm not minded to explain if you're taking that attitude.

I was in there a few hours ago, someone was messing with 'something', I got the impression he was doing IT related stuffs. May be related, may not!Does anyone know when the phone lines are actually open at the gatehouse? There's no mention of opening times anywhere on their website or Facebook. Got a question about an event that isn't answered anywhere!
I've realised you must have been in about fifteen months after two women were taken to hospital after the ceiling collapsed inside Wetherspoons's Waterhouse. .I'm in the Waterhouse in Manchester now and there's real ale on every handpull and not just the usual "House" real ale crap either

Looks like you had a narrow escape then @Thehooperman. Thank goodness you weren't in there 15 months earlier.Nothing to do with me, I was just reporting where I was drinking!!
Daughter-in-law and myself went to the Gatehouse to see The Makings of a Murderer, presented by David Swindle. He was part of the team that caught Peter Tobin.

We really enjoyed the evening. It's just nice to have time together and maybe learn something new.
Early February, we are booked to see the Psychologist Emma Kenny, again, then end of February we're booked to see The Real Manhunter, presented by Colin Sutton, the Police office who help catch Levi Belfield, the murderer of the young girl Millie Dowler.
That's a shame, he was quite interesting to listen to.I did think that looked extremely interesting but I couldn’t volunteer for that because we were away.
Last nights shift was Frankenstein in The Met, a thoroughly enjoyable performance by The Stafford Players.
Its on for a few nights more if anyone is interested.
Lots of our volunteering duties are music nights and tribute bands , which I absolutely love, but sometimes to see a well performed play, in a lovely venue, well it makes you appreciate what theatre is about, and how lucky we are to have this fabulous venue on our doorstep .
A good idea to have it there, not the Castle, this time of year !It’s Panto time everyone (oh yes it is!) and I was fortunate enough to go and see the dress rehearsal last night.
It’s opening night tonight for Beauty And The Beast so if you’ve got kids or grandchildren, (or even if you haven’t, because no one is too old for Panto) then why not treat yourself to a fun night out.
Tickets are selling really well for this, it’s a great show, full of laughs and a fabulous way to kick start Christmas.
