Vandalism in Railway Street.

Hi folks came out to our car this morning to find some "artwork" on the side of our car. It was also on another one near to us. It looked like it had been done with a key. Just wondered if anyone else in the area has had something similar to this? Castletown area

I live in the area and have walked round it more than ever, just lately, due to having sciatica. Was thinking it's been quite some time since I saw or heard any damage as my car has had a wing mirror smashed, keyed at least 3 times and 2, what look like, hammer dents! Nothing for months, though. Worth posting here, the Castletown facebook group and NextDoor if you are on it as a fair number have CCTV in the area..

I've had damage done to my car before now, door mirror ripped off - the bloke who did that buggered back to Poland before the Police could do owt. The Puma had a few scratches down the side, don't think this one's been damaged round here though. Any damage was done on a supermarket carpark.
Not on Railway St, but there's been upwards of 16 fires on the empty houses on North Castle st, No16 taking place earlier. Sooner my son and his Mrs move away from there the better. I've seen photos of the damage tonight, there isn't much left of the insides and structually the buildings are really damaged.

He's only moving due to the fires, pair of them like living round here. Without giving too much away, they both feel it's getting dangerous in their home now, the last fire (not this evenings) there was smoke damage in the loft and cellar. The fire bloke that my lad spoke to reckons it's just a matter of time before the empty houses become to damaged to be renovated. Funnily enough, the new owners live down in London, and no-one has been able to contact them.

Weren't those houses auctioned recently, if it's the ones on that nasty narrow bend?

Maybe that's the plan, let them become to dangerous to be done up, then get permission to level the lot and start from scratch .

I was hoping they'd get the same treatment as those on castle view!
That would be lovely, the gardens aren't too bad a size and there's space for expantion if needed.

Talking about vandalism... Someone's got on top of the old M&S and did a lovely bit of artwork up there...

Noticed a few buildings roofs had been got. The old coop when viewed from red rum I think of memory serves. I suspect it's a change from Haze and his info wars shite.

Demolition of the Stafford Arms was the most heinous vandalism I've seen in Railway Street.

Yeah unless of course if it was your car or property that was damaged.
We all have insurance policies for our cars and properties.
I was thinking more of Stafford's historic buildings being retained for the common good.
