I think in another thread some time back I spoke of my encounter with a tarantula in a bar in Columbia. For those who thought I was exaggerating, apparently this little (big) fellow was found in the luggage of a traveller in Columbia. There is a market for smuggling these things out. I know, they're horrible looking things, and poisonous, (there are much deadlier spiders about the world,) but I don't like the idea of smuggling them like this. After all, like the rest of us, he/she is only trying to get by ... (although I would prefer he/she did it about ten billion light years away from me.)
