Colleagues that have had covid have, still had vaccines, afterward, although months later than other people...I was due to have my booster last Friday , but then caught covid instead. Should I still get my vaccine after I’m better ? Or is it kind of pointless at this point ? Surely I will have the antibodies from actual covid
Get that booster as soon as you are able! Son caught covid for the 2nd time at christmas ,so any antibodies remaining from the first time a year earlier didn't prevent it.I was due to have my booster last Friday , but then caught covid instead. Maybe it's just luck, eldest child & his gf both had covid before any vaccinations. Both had to wait months for them after recovering. (both are in late 20's, & were super fit before covid, doing 10k runs/rides daily, but are still struggling with health / breathing a year on).Get that booster as soon as you are able! First time was last november (2020) before the vaccines started. He's had 2 Pfizers (2nd one in August) , and was due to get his booster the other week , the same day as the PCR results came back positive!
He must have had the Kent variant the first time around, but wasn't told which one he had this time. (Track & trace rang when he was in the shower and left a message that they would ring back later but didn't. So he doesn't know if they were ringing to say which variant, after contact details, or just checking if he was in ...)
Interestingly , me and hubby were in close contact with him over the 5 days and kept testing negative daily, before , during and after his stay with us. I reckon our boosters must have worked their magic either keeping our levels so low the lat flow tests didn't pick it up, or warded it off completely.
Bojo? How do we think BoJo will fare in the current round of party-gate? Will he continue to shrug off all of the outrage until he is eventually outed at the next election or is there actually a block in this game of Jenga that will cause the tower to collapse?
Wooly or string? It really just seems to be the luck of the draw. All you can do us to do your vest for yourself & your family.
Does it really matter? How do we think BoJo will fare in the current round of party-gate? Will he continue to shrug off all of the outrage until he is eventually outed at the next election or is there actually a block in this game of Jenga that will cause the tower to collapse?
FixedWooly or string?
But there's no one else... In any other party....He'll cling on til just before the GE when they'll put someone new in to ensure people vote for them because who on earth could do any better.
But there's no one else... In any other party....
Bojo?
WTF!
Nobody cares
Nobody cares
Thelocalchuffs will still vote thefatchuff back in
Nobody really cares
Edit - Bowdleriser evasion circumvented.
I prefer to flip that to literally anyone else in any party. Hell, even the DUP couldn't do much worse, and some sweetcorn in a recent poo had a more coherent covid policy. But there's no one else... In any other party....
Woah, that's well over the top.I prefer to flip that to literally anyone else in any party. Hell, even the DUP couldn't do much worse, and some sweetcorn in a recent poo had a more coherent covid policy.
I voted LD in the 2019 GE because I didn't think either Boris or Corbyn were fit for office. I didn't vote for anybody in the local elections last year because non of the candidates were of any worth whatsoever. First time since becoming eligible that I haven't voted. And anyway, who is to say the other parties can't do better? They've not had a chance for over 10 years. The tories do nothing for people like us*.
