Come on guys ... Some estimates suggest the entire Universe will suffer heat death in about 60 trillion years. (Could be 60 trillion trillion trillion years because numbers like that are incomprehensible.) You get maybe 70 years plus if you're lucky. Have a laugh, remember the good bits, smile at the sky and then give it two fingers for good measure.
Then get pissed !!!:pint::buddy::bananafunk::bum:

I called into the pub last night, as I needed to pop into the ladies.

I needed to adjust the fill level in the cistern, and it's much easier to do that when it quiet in the midweek...

This is a bloody joke!!!:mad: After pensions saying my claim was successful back in September when I made it , then suddenly it's not on the awards system and a claim resubmitted by them the other night to 'the awards team'......

I just rang again to make sure it's being processed. First operator told me she could see nothing at all on her system about my pension claim/entitlement and ......
Her - " Ring back on this same number and press 2"
Me - "I've just pressed 2 , won't that bring me back to you again???"
Her - " No , you will get one of my colleagues next time and they might be able to help you. "

Rang back same number , pressed 2 like before and luckily got someone else who could see my entitlement . She said they get the awards letter the same time as the customer and haven't had it yet , but could see that someone in their office had requested it. Definitely on their system , she told me how much my weekly payments would be, but couldn't say when I'm getting it. "Hopefully before it's due in 4 weeks time"
Got to wait up to 4 weeks before ringing to check again and then they can look into it.

Glad the 2nd operator was also gobsmacked to hear her colleague had told me to redial the same number, to get someone else who would know what they were doing! :roll:
