Just noticed something, it doesn't look like the people who wrote the article GG posted (the one article all other instances refer to) even talked to this guy. It appears they lifted the whole 'story' from 5 facebook posts, the quotes they use are simply lifted from those posts, and TBH they actually made it less believable than if they'd just printed his FB posts because of how they try to twist it. One other place (and only one?) has the text of these FB messages and they just posted the messages themselves, actually sound more believable in that context, but again literally no way to verify because it appeared they'd written it down themselves (maybe from the image on the first site?). I can't find the guy on FB.

So its an article whose only evidence is some FB posts you can't see. Blind faith.

I've found the guy on Facebook (he looks a little different in his current profile picture, no beard) but he has locked his account down, no public posts in the pandemic era. I did take a look at his dad's page, to see if he had posted anything about his son's plight or the vaccines, and he hadn't.... he has shared lots of anti-woke and frankly racist memes, though, which is common amongst anti-vaxxers.

I think the most likely explanation is that it was a hoax and he got overwhelmed by the attention so he removed all evidence of it, knowing it would be fairly easy to disprove if it gained media attention. Why else wouldn't you sell your story to the media if this really happened and you wanted to warn as many people as possible? And there's no defence in saying "they wouldn't cover it" because I've seen loads of stories about alleged side effects from the vaccine.

I think its fairly uncontroversial to suggest that a completely unverifiable story from a single source can be safely binned.

You keep going round in your little circles of convenience and same science.
I and millions of others will move on and find new ways to live.
I'm glad i'm not dismissive of everything other than my own view as I'd sound like a Tory!

You expect belief without proof, every time you pretend to bring proof you run a mile if anyone queries it. You won't even acknowledge a question is asked, I think you're scared because you realise you may be wrong but are two far down the rabbit hole to turn around.

Just try not to drink the kool aid.

Oh I didn't realise I wasn't living my life. I'll stop having so much fun,
I know what you mean. I'm at the superbikes this weekend, a gig Monday night, I'm not aware of any restrictions whatsoever, the only mild inconvenience is a lot of people are ill and s few hundred are dying each day. My vaccination status means I'm less likely to join them, but other than that we're pretty much back to normal?

Multiple vaccinations.
A man in Bihar, India, has used a variety of identity cards to get vaccinated at least 12 times, claiming that each dose has relieved his chronic back pain.. Authorities are not impressed. tribuneindia.com 6th Jan

In New Zealand a man was vaccinated 9 times in one day at different vaccination hubs using the identities of people who had paid him to have the jabs in their place. Authorities not amused. independant.co.uk 13 Dec 2021

Both are reported to be well and facing action by their countries judicial systems

Proof how stupid people are in the search of being untouchable, while putting themselves at even more risk. Ticking time bombs!

So if I'm reading this right that arguments above go as follows.
a lady starts smoking 60 a day at 12 years old and lives to 102 so that proves smoking is safe?
Very few things in life are completely risk free there are some individuals who have had a very bad reaction to the vaccine. That doesn't change the fact that millions of people have received a vaccine without lasting complications and therefore now likely to be at a reduced risk of severe outcomes from covid.

No, but if somebody said that literally everyone who smoked one a day for a year would die (as we were told that all triple-vaxxed folk would fall seriously ill in mid-April) then it would be a compelling argument to the contrary.

One lady? No. Most ladies? Then we have some questions. People die falling out of bed, using a small enough sample size you could argue beds are deadly and should be banned. Looking at the incidence rate makes you realise there's no point even giving a warning, yet the same number of deaths exist.

Something I've always found funny is how many anti vaxxers drink and smoke, despite all the evidence that it's much more dangerous than the vaccination. I know someone who repeated the 'but you don't know what's in it' line, despite me witnessing them previously buy drugs off a guy in a pub toilet.
