It's feasible. Same parent company. Assuming that once Sports Direct move, Game move with them.A source has told me both Game and sports direct are closing.
Game is moving into sports direct in the month , and sports direct is closing towards the end of the year for relocation into the Stafford Fraser's Department store, which is taking over the old co-op.
Make of it what you will, but seems semi likely.
He's actually got all the ingredients to turn it into a proper shop worth having tbh , there's also talk of him buying AO now too.As much as I hate Ashley turning the Co-Op into Fraser's seems a very good move.
I hope not, AO have amazing customer service at present. He's actually got all the ingredients to turn it into a proper shop worth having tbh , there's also talk of him buying AO now too.
A rare breed indeedI hope not, AO have amazing customer service at present.
Customer service won't help when they're apparently heading for bankruptcy.I hope not, AO have amazing customer service at present.
Shame. Seems a weird one for MA to buy, he's the reverse king midas, it's good name will be worthless within months and then what will he have bought? Brand names I get, he basically counterfits his own brands, but AO sell other peoples gear.Customer service won't help when they're apparently heading for bankruptcy.
Just spoke to the guys in game and yes they are moving into sports direct by the end of the month.
They have heard that sports direct will move to Riverside (maybe the lambretta store) by the end of the year.
They have also heard that co-op are trying to buy the old building back.
Really? I had an interview with them a couple of weeks ago. There was talk of them pulling out of their European markets but I never thought they might be having issues.Customer service won't help when they're apparently heading for bankruptcy.

They've lost their main credit facility now, so they have to pay for the goods upfront from their suppliers I believe , as such they've lost about half their value in the last week and still falling.Really? Some people are on the pitch ….Things seem to be changing (for the worse) for quite a few businesses.....
Looks like they've already closed the German business. Not sure when , they said in June they were going to do a slow staged closedown, looks like that's went out the window. AO.deReally?
