Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

Enjoying a drop of red.
No as in if the council won’t let planning go through for it to be something useful they can take the burden of it on
'They', you mean 'We' the takpayers.

No thanks, there are far more deserving ways for my taxes to be spent than on that crappy place.

Rules is Rules mista

As I understood it, it’s not an office block it’s a Government office block

So the Government dept has to re allocate the building in order for it to be converted to something other than an actual office

There is no difference in planning terms of an office block and a Government office block.

There is no different use classification and the same planning rules apply.

I suspect the issue is with the Government not being in a rush to do anything with the building.

The car dealership on Wolverhampton road (by the train bridge opposite Cress Security) is going to be a Spartan Motor Factors store;

Euro Car Parts are in Stafford now? (and they're not just for European cars now). Great stuff. I remember the days of driving over to Smethwick for parts.
