Traffic crawling from ASDA along to Lichfield Road, not sure how far it's queuing to wasn't going that way

I was returning to Stafford from Gnosall, went along Silkmore lane and it was queued up there. Turned around and went down the Acton Hill route to get home. Just wait until there's even more houses built.

Not sure what's causing the problem but my bus into town took 30 minutes to get to me from Crab Lane to Parkside.

There are queues of traffic from the Shire Horse roundabout back to town side of Holmcroft heading north.

Does anybody know of more information regarding the suicide last week on the train track? My nine year olds bedroom window overlooks the tracks and he kept telling me the train was stopped and the helicopter was landing. I have explained what happened and he has asked a couple of times since about it.
Very sad that it happened.

IPSO guidance

• Care should be taken to limit the risk of vulnerable people being influenced by coverage of suicide and choosing to end their own lives.
• Journalists should be prepared to justify the inclusion of any detail of the method of suicide in a report.

I cannot imagine what further information you could possibly want to tell a nine year old. I'd be looking to get him to move on from this as quickly as possible. Nothing about it is pleasant for anyone concerned.

A university friend was a special constable and told be about what they have to do. Checking every metre of the line to make sure there's no body parts lying around. He always said to never use that way of taking your life. It also risks the lives of the driver and others.

The police will occasionally name someone but generally you will need to wait to see if there is any press coverage once it reaches the coroner’s court.

Yep, this is why they never properly covered the kid that was sitting with his organs rotting away either.

Minime says there's an enormous hole in a one way bridge, somewhere between Milford Common and The Wolsley Arms*.....it wasn't there when they went for their meal at 6pm, but was on their way back.

*grandparents took minime to Wolsley arms for tea at 6pm, for unknown reasons they diverted across county & across a single passing bridge

I wouldn't worry, the police'll be looking into it.

Sounds like Weetmans Bridge on Meadow Road road into Little Haywood - turns off the 513 more or less opposite 7 Springs
Yes, I think so, although I have no idea why they didn't drive straight down the Rd to Wolsley Arms.....they're in their 80s, magical mystery tour maybe
