Lying in bed wondering whether it's too early to get up and start jackhammering the kitchen floor up.
A fair chunk done.

My internet went down yesterday, out from 8 am till 4 pm (0800-1600 in old money.) Never realised how stuck I'd be without it, you see something and say, 'I'll look that up' then realise you can't.
OK, still had the phone, but titchy screen and a keypad built for a fruit fly ? … not really my bag. When it came back on, first thing I did was order a connector from Amazon to put the phone on the HDMI TV screen.
I'll give Sky their due, they sent me a text to say there was an area outage, and another when it came back up.
Tell me, what did we do before the internet ?

Not sure drinking more increases your life expectancy 😁
All this going out not doing my waistline too good either 😂 Want to stop in and diet ,but so many places to try and things to do that it's hard to stay in being good instead.

Doing my bit to keep Paracetamol companies going ...

We are thinking of going to the theatre to see a musical event supporting Guide Dogs next week though....so maybe will be able to go out for the night without consuming too many boozy calories ....

Social life expectancy?

Keeping active does seem to make you live longer though, my nan never stops and she's 102!
There was a little old lady (must have been well into her 80's / 90's ) came into the disco pub last night with some youngsters. She was enjoying herself on the dance floor as well!

I treat these disco pub sessions as mild aerobic classes 😂

Enjoying a drop of red.

Does the theatre not have a bar?

Just got a pile of post pushed through the door , including a specially requested 'signed for parcel ' (as original got lost in Royal Mail system...) just pushed through letter box that should have arrived soon after 6th Oct!

Had one of us waiting in specially for it all month as needed signing for , and Postie finally arrives with it on a sunday evening and shoves it through! (According to tracking it's still in a Manchester post office )

That's better than the 'Sorry we missed each other' card that I got yesterday - whilst I was in the house...

Also amongst the pile was a letter dated 12th October ......letting me know I'm getting the Winter Fuel Payment  . Just a good job the actual payment isn't posted out by cheque ! Might have arrived after the winter at the rate our post is arriving.
