A thought occurred to me this morning that it wouldnt surprise me if the developers tried to open access to the estate via Lichfield Road during the build phase for prospective customers, even though access isn't planned once complete...

Hopefully they won't be spreading mud over the Lichfield Road.

It's an ideal location for a new development. Brownfield, close to town centre. Just a shame the 'Stafford Way' is to build it without doing anything about the local, already heavily congested, roads infrastructure.

Have they already removed the foundations for the earthquake table and the Innocenti? They are on the scale of the U-boat pens on the Atlantic Wall.

They'll probably just cover it in about a foot of soil and then people will wonder why all their lawns keep dying.

Breaking, digging, dust, excessive and prolonged noise for anybody in sight and that noise will carry on for a fair distance in all directions.
I'd guess it will be one of the biggest areas to be broken since one or two town centre projects. I'll also guess there will be a load of complaints from residents about debris and mud from lorries leaving site. I'd guess one or two on here will air grievances and some will respond with "buy a house somewhere else then!" cos that's what some people are like!
