As long as that is the only alternative road to get to the business premises, then that will be absolutely fine. Plod will be aware and so will the buses. Just do as the chap says and proceed with caution.
Just the people coming out of some flats down that bit to be aware of the garage bloke said. The buses can't get to that bit while it's dug up , so no chance of meeting them. ( Although anything could happen with these bus drivers....the driver I had yesterday took everyone on an extra loop around for no reason. Think he was on autopilot and thought he was on his way home 😂 )

Out of all the roads in Worcester , it's got to be the one running past the garage , and just that part of the road closed, and the urgent work just needing to be started when his car's booked in! The curse of StaffordJas 🤣

The plod sent son down a bus lane once when they'd closed a road off for someone jumping off Asda. They assured him he would be fine, then a bus lane fine came through his door. Got cancelled after his appeal though . helped with their photo having blue flashing lights in it to back him up.

Well , there's always something to make things not go smoothly when I'm involved ! 😂Told son I'd get his MOT & service as a birthday present. Booked it in for tomorrow , made all plans for me transporting him back and forth to garage........bloody road closed completely to get to it as being excavated for emergency cable repairs. Just been instructed by garage an altenative route to get to them, wrong way down a one way street , keeping in the bus lane with our hazards on........ :hmm:
Won't there be diversion signs sending you that way if it's the only route available?

The diversion signs are the other side of the closure , as it's a one way street. The garage is the only business that side of the closure down that one way road, (Apart from our favourite pub The Paul Pry )
Our buses have been cancelled from the bus station as they can't get down that way. Seems one bus driver wasn't informed before he set off this morning according to comments.....

Well I was surprised my insurance renewal was cheaper this year than last. But my car will be 13 years old this year.

I've seen your DS3. Looks smart @littleme
It's lovely! Love it lots like jelly tots.....

Ps have you been spying at me through my neighbours camera?

Oh......and anyone who has seen a middle aged woman, driving a red & black DS3 with a 17 plate, like a nut case around stafford......that is not me, mines a 67 plate. That woman is a total menace, nearly ran me off the rd, and several other drivers too, just before Christmas!

Shhh....🤫🤫🤫 Proud mum news...... minime, who was going to uni to do a teaching degree this year, also applied for a *commercial finance apprenticeship degree with HSBC in November, after many many interviews and tests, she's through to the final interview. Everyone keep your fingers and toes crossed for next wednesday!

*Middle son qualified as a teacher just before covid, then was head hunted for a NatWest commercial finance graduate degree....he got through too after months of interviews.....the starting salary is nearly 3 times his teachers salery would have been!

I'm not sure where all my kids get their brains (but I know where they get their work ethic) from but I'm so proud of all 3!

Sad that a teachers value is below that of a money launderer

Obviously not the fault of your talented family either

Starting salary for a teacher is £28,000 middle child's starting salary (3 years ago) was NEARLY 3 times that...you're right, but it is what it is.

Minime is the same as me at the moment....at school and earning £11.00 an hour on a part time contract...

I'm on a part time contract too....£11.00 hr for 20 hrs a week.....most weeks I can double this with overtime....yet I'm still getting a disciplinary for being ill with COVID and it taking me over my 3% of time i should have off in a whole year....I don't get extra sick pay for overtime....so I get to have off 31.2 hours a week off in a year if I'm I'll ......literally 5 & 1/2 days a year....

Agggghhhhhhhhhhh 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
