Who would choose to live there. Its a poorly built building in a horrible location right on the dual carriageway 🤷‍♀️
A rare opportunity to live in a fabulous residential conversion in one of Staffords most iconic buildings.

Situated conveniently in a prime position next to restaurants, leisure facilities with close links to the A34 and the M6.

Say hello to Gizzajob Towers

More a question of building regs if it’s to be a dumping ground for hospital patients with no place to go, or has that one lapsed?

Offices are not natural home conversions spaces, often resulting in poor air quality and mould

Wasn’t there evidence of this on the same road somewhere ?

Triple Glazing All Round!!
Yeah , my mate lived in the new one opposite Currys, said it was plagued with mould, although he was an early adopter, and did live in a bottom floor apartment before he was moved up, think he still left and just rents a house now instead.

Not sure what the situation is now ?

There's some shops and a pub around, a gym near by, it's walking distance to town, near the isobel trail and the marshes and it's easy to get to the M6.

That doesn't mean it's not poorly built and very close to a noisy dual carriageway. The fumes and vibration of the juggernauts alone along that road probably makes it unhealthy to live there and unpleasant. I guess they could get pissed every night and then not notice these things!

Think it just references making the second and third floors into about 35 apartments.
It'll be a cheap job of bricking up some windows, chuck up internal partitions, all bathrooms etc. towards the middle and each (studio?) flat gets maybe 2 points of outside light. The void below should make it great for energy bills!

None of those are dual carriageways?

What's that got to do with anything ? Its next to a major roundabout. The speed (and therefore noise) of the vehicles outside the property will be nothing compared to to that travelling down Eccleshall, Lichfield, Wolverhampton, Stone Roads or Riding Rising Brook...

4 lanes against 2 lanes of traffic, I'd prefer 2 lanes.

Lanes?

These are not lanes

There are no picnic baskets or tricycles here , there are no orchards or fields of barley

These are not lanes

These are tyre fibre pollution poisoning punishments of luxury

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the new shop that has recently opened at the junction of Browning Street and the A34, next to Caprino's Pizza, has spelt Foregate incorrectly . The large sign above the door "Forgate Street Mini Market" in massive blue capital letters! I'm sure one of the previous businesses in the same building also had an obvious spelling mistake above the door but I think it was corrected. I mean, how does this kind of elementary mistake happen?
