Yup, no issue with her taking maternity, must have been meticulously planned as I didn't even realise she was gone!

Surely her taking maternity leave is not an issue for anybody? She's perfectly entitled to.
Yes indeed, and that's why I found it hard to believe this
A Conservative MP has revealed she has received dozens of phone calls from angry constituents who have berated her for taking time off after the birth of her child.
and I wasn't aware that she took phone calls from constituents, angry or not.

Is it early to be choosing candidates? We’re not due an election until 2025

Probably takes ages to actually pick one

Election will also be next year, nobody wants to campaign over Christmas and the Tories won’t want an election in deep winter.

They could easily manipulate the turnout by advertising ballot stations as warm spaces?

I knew someone involved in the selection process a while back, he was a dissenting voice when David Cameron was picked in an attempt to perform a Kidney transplant.

I well remember his brief and, as it turned out, extremely accurate description of Cameron, long before he had really come to any great public attention.

I would need to make some effort to enter it into this post, as the Forum would adjust the text.

I often what he would think about the current shysters?

Has to be held by Jan 2025 but can be held before then. Plus boundaries are changing....I can't help but think that Bill Cash had something to do with all this given that his constituency is changing massively....

Ah Cameron. Proof that, on occasion, even Stafford voters can make the right decision.

Sir William Nigel Paul Cash was born on 10th May 1940, is currently the oldest MP and should perhaps consider his position.

Are you saying that in your official capacity on the Conservative Association Committee? Or is that just a personal opinion,?
