While we had the piling ong ongoing work on the SWAR to contend with in Castletown, we had the piling from houses on Castleworks, too!

I can feel the work they are doing on this over at St. Leonards ave, it's rattaling my radiators. I've seen a lot of concerns with people living at the crossings about the noise and damages due to construction.

Maybe write to our MP about those concerns.
No, not before the General Election.

Maybe the worst thing they've done is raise the level of the ground close to 6ft on the border with the crossings, with no real need to....

Funny how despite loads of new houses the high street is deader than ever. Almost like the shops are no actual use unless you can get to them.

I made my first visit to a friend on the crossings a few weeks ago and I sympathised! A ground floor flat with a small back garden area adjoining direct building works had me commenting about the only opening windows being feet from the building site.
It's been bad enough having it at the end of the street for a few years never mind end of the garden!

Some people on the estate are claiming they now have PDST, for me I've haven't felt it's been that bad
Our offices are on Siemens Road and we can hear it clearly all day. Not nuisance levels but we do wonder what it's like for people living closer.
