Worst Pot Holes in Stafford.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Right, I ain't going back over 9 'pages' to look this up, but youngest and I have just come back from the Knot & Plough, took the scenic route home. (Beaconside) Has anyone seen the potholes by the turn to Sandon Road? They're more like craters, I had play hopscotch with the things till we got to Hopton Lane. Then as you turn out of Beaconside to go left at the Stone Road, there's like a sandpit, but grotty, gritty tarmac.
Been like that for ages, sadly.

There should be a thread for “least potholes in Stafford”. It would surely be the quietest thread here. I really can’t think of 1 to start it off.
The new bypass round past Halford to Sainsbury's.

Not strictly in Stafford but this beauty on Clanford Road by the entrance to the gliding club at Ladfordfields is over a metre long. I dipped a ruler in this morning and it's 17 cm deep.

There are several more of similar depth between there and the Seighford turn.

Mine's just about the only house that doesn't stink of the stuff. Along with @gilbert grape and @Andreas Rex
I've noticed it less, just lately.

PS to all, the SWAR has never been a bypass. It's an access route to reach the West of the town.
I popped round to the eldests yesterday, i'll be honest, the stretch between us and the entrance to Jerningham st wasn't as bad. Perhaps the culprits have gone away, or moved?
Saying that. Great unwashed, Jesus looking thing and I went Sainsburys yesterday evening. There was a woman walking round the aisles, and she reeked of the stuff. You could tell where she'd been by the smell.

I’ve always thought the purpose of the SWAR is to provide access to all that land around it for new housing so our wonderful council has lots more council tax to spend for our benefit.
