Should we do a forum sweepstake on how long it stays down, after completion, until they start taking bits up? Just asking! It seems to have gone backwards this week. No news slabs laid and the drainage blocks around the tree have all been dug up
Mmm, they may well take bits up before it's completed...Should we do a forum sweepstake on how long it stays down, after completion, until they start taking bits up? Just asking!
Slabs are going down this morning....It seems to have gone backwards this week. No news slabs laid and the drainage blocks around the tree have all been dug up
Completion is due September.A few more (not many ) slabs down and the plastic squares around the tree back in place
Which September ?Completion is due September.
Moving down to the riverside mallCompletion is due September.
Hopefully they can stick to this else there will be nowhere for the Christmas Tree.
this septemberWhich September ?
Who hoped that? They're was a hope this would be complete (despite the September date) ready for Shakespeare at the Gatehouse, but that's looking like it's completely off the cards considering that opens 2 weeks this coming Friday....
Yes, never mind the hundred rather than six mile round trip my wife and daughter this year are going to Ludlow to see it performed properly in a castle.Who hoped that?
Besides, have a look at the Gatehouse website and see just how many people have actually booked to go to see the Shakespeare. A very few days have managed being just under half booked. Most days are near empty.
People are voting with their feet.
Entrust/Stafford Borough Council, have killed the thing.
Still there is still time, I suppose...
There looks to be a fair old 'grain' on the slabs, hopefully this will stop any slips.Which is all very nice but when it's wet or icy it's going to be a feckin deathtrap just like the previous mess was
A grain for the rain. There looks to be a fair old 'grain' on the slabs, hopefully this will stop any slips.
We watched them a while in the week, 6 workers, only one doing anything & he just seemed to trundle up & down in his digger, not digging or moving anything! For this week they seem to have gone back a bit.
The bricks and a line of curbing have all been ripped up, but they have laid more of the blocks.
They must be getting worried about the timescale as there are a lot more workers there now doing things.
I'm sure the others were busy as well.We watched them a while in the week, 6 workers, only one doing anything & he just seemed to trundle up & down in his digger, not digging or moving anything!
Don't you offer your services in 'comms' as a professional?... the sight that met me in the square made it even more puzzling that so many people backed the muppet wanting to ride through the town like they had a divine right to take over any restrictive space that there is, left!
