Russ, Jenny & Daz Whitehouse at The Lamb on Broadeye
Barry & Doreen Moore ran the Castle Tavern from late 80's into the 90's, then I think they went on to run Rose & Crown?
The Hogans ran the Railway Inn for many a year.

There was a chap who ran a pub up at Weeping Cross - a Daily Mail readier type - Banned you from kissing the local wenches
if the "wenches" in the lynton are anything to go by, he was probably doing a public service..
Used to be 'The Crossbow' and I used to work behind the bar in the 70's

Mr Frank Cary(Or Major Cary as he preffered to be called ) and his wife were really horrible to work for. If I spilt a bit of froth over the top of the glass he would say "Maaam....that is half a new pence you have just lost me!" I used to dread it when a customer requested a guinness!!

He sent me home once to change a brand new cardigan that my mum had just knitted me because he didn't like the look of it.

Quite a few customers were ordered out of his 'Cocktail Lounge' because they weren't suitably attired.

I remember her well. Don't know why the RAF lads were worried, it was sailors hats she donned behind the bar lol.

From my vague memory Jackie Proudlock ran the Railway briefly in 96, after that a woman with her son & daughter ran it ( I think her sons name was John?) someone out there will correct me if I’m wrong…
