Anyone fancy going to the Ludlow Food Festival?
Gota Quid and I went last year and had a great time sampling all the food.
It's only £6 a ticket - for more details check out this link http://www.foodfestival.co.uk/weekend.html
Stafford Borough Council runs the CCTV - think it might be difficult getting hold of footage though as we wouldn't have other people's permission to their image. Think it's a data protection thing, there must be a sign saying that they are recording for community safety purposes.
I really enjoyed it, it has made me start reading the books now. I thought they managed to get the actors to look the age they were supposed to be very well, it was slightly dodgy in the last film they all looked about 5 years old than they should.
I think once people are over 18 it doesn't really matter, I have a friend who is ten years younger than her partner which freaks me out a lot less than a friend of Gota quid who went out with a 16 year old, (only just - and I mean days!) when he is 19. I think the fact he's at uni and she was...
has anyone elese got a bad head today? I am so glad I booked the day off in preparation for hangover recovery.
Had a great night if a little muddy, it's quite hard to dance in wellies!
Great rendition of the stafford song - sofa must have got about 20-30 mentions of the forum in!
So who is goign to brave the mud tomorrow and make it to the castle? Will be looking out for the forum banner and meeting a few forumites.

I hate friends reunited! Everytime I go on there I think people are just boasting. But i then think, there aren't that many people I want to be reunited with, i still have close friends I keep in touch with but the rest were idiots then are probably still idiots now, even if they wear nice...
Not sure whether this is just a staford thing but friends from outside the midlands hadn't heard of grebo - as in indie kid, anyone that went to Props regularly - I suppose you would say emo now, but the hair over the eye wasn't essential back then!
I love some of Oscar Wilde's quips:
"America had often been discovered before Columbus, but it had always been hushed up ".
"The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about. "
and one for the morning after a night at the railway "Only dull people are brilliant at...
I got £125 back from HSBC didn't even write just when in and asked for a list of charges in the last five years, they offered me half the amount of the charges which I accepted - didn't realise I had been charged quite so many times! :)
On a slight tangent (usual for the forum I know :) !) we get woken up on a sunday morning at some ungodly hour by the church bells in town - it is just wrong, thought in religious terms sunday was a day of rest not bloody bell ringing!
although not religious myself I stick to the resting bit!
