Stafford can't even sort out the traffic light timing for normal everyday driving. Seems to be virtually no effort to match sets of lights to each other to avoid stopping traffic at every set of lights Katy

At best it is a short term bodge. Problem is that we have a pathetically short motorway network by European standards, and nobody will admit the level required. Katy

Yep, the centre lane owners club are a complete pain. Some try to use the excuse of the condition of the left hand lane from lorries, and some that they think they would be changing lane all the time. Can' say I think either are valid. Doesn't help that some UK motorways seem to encourage it...
