    Sainsburys Charity Bookcase

Aaw I was wondering where that had gone! Hope they manage to find a replacement. Have they tried freecycle? ;p

Stafford Cinema - ups & downs.

I used to work there and, though I can't say much else, I can confirm that the people who put those signs up do indeed want to reopen it as a cinema.

32" Toshiba HD TV (no longer) available for free, Highfields area

Hi all, My parents upgraded to a smart TV over Christmas and they've asked me to get rid of their old one. They were going to just take it to the tip but, as it's still fully-functioning, I thought I'd ask if anyone here would like it? You'd have to pick it up from their house in Alder Grove in...

    Leave or Remain?

It's basically fine to reveal your vote. It's illegal to reveal anyone else's. Here's a quote from around last years elections: A statement by the Electoral Commission said: “A voter may volunteer information about who they voted for, provided no undue influence is exerted on them to do so...

    Leave or Remain?

I was the only person in there when I voted (in Highfields). I did see maybe 3-4 people nearby who I presume had just voted or where on their way (due to the location), all probably 70+.

    Download Festival - Anyone going?

Heh, I take it you've not heard about the infamous 'Brownload' that was 2012...? Been a good down-pouring each year since, at some stage, though 2014 was pretty good.

    Download Festival - Anyone going?

Really excited for the likes of Rammstein, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Korn etc, this weekend.... hopefully the weather stays like these but, as it's Download, we're almost certain to get wet at some point. Any Staffordians going this year?

    Angry Cyclist.

I've seen him mentioned plenty in the 'local characters' thread, I was directed there after making this one (this thread is over a year old, just in case people don't realise!)

    Angry Cyclist.

It's been suggested that he's known to the police and the relevant support authorities..... obviously no idea how true that is, but I imagine it is because I can't believe that he's gone through life without attracting some form of professional attention.

Self-defense doesn't necessarily equate to physical violence, though.... just to point that out.

    The Walking Woman

I'm also a walker, do two hours or so a day as I work from home, for exercise. I'll be sure to wave if I see any other forum walkers on my travels. XD @Wormella @staffordjas

    Angry Cyclist.

There is a bit of writing seemingly by said cyclist online (I don't want to post a link as it contains an email address...) in which he claims to suffer delusions and have brain abnormalities. Of course it could be someone else with the same name and location, but thought I'd mention. If I get...

Stafford local legends - You had some characters!

Welllllllll he's known to be someone who suffers from mental problems and delusions and so it's tough, because a slap around the head wouldn't do much good to set him right. ... which is probably a good thing, as a lot of us would be nursing sore ears if a swift smack was a cure for mental...
