    butlers bell re opened

I don't class doombar as a decent beer but the davenports are all drinkable. As I said, it won't be my go to place I much prefer the Sun, Shrew, Bird in Hand or Candid but it is somewhere that I will visit occasionally.

    butlers bell re opened

It's decent. A good selection of drinkable real ale and nice food. It also has live entertainment. It's not my favourite pub in Stafford but it is somewhere that I will pop in to for a few beers and maybe to watch a band.

    Butler's Bell - Gaolgate, Stafford.

That was the table I was sitting on but I was at the bar when the photo was taken. During the night, I had pint of Davenports RIP, Drum Bitter, Gold and one other. All very drinkable.

    Butler's Bell - Gaolgate, Stafford.

I was invited last night to enjoy some free hospitality. The food was excellent and the 4 davenport beers I tried were all very drinkable. It's a nice makeover and very cheap for food and beer. The beers are from £2.35. For those that haven't been yet, it feels to me like a cross between...

House prices - what is wrong with this place?

    We are neighbours.

Stafford Rangers - New Start and The Way Forward.

SRFC played a weakened side consisting of a number of academy players, 1st team players returning from injury and a couple of fringe players. Because of our league position, the club is rightly prioritising the league and as such put out a weakened team. The young lads played well. Some 1st...

Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

Sbc being proactive. Wow. I never thought I'd see the day. Maybe they are not so useless after all....

What can realistically be done with the old Co-Op?

I suspect most office workers given the choice would rather work in the centre of town - I know I would. However, even though my office is in some fancy offices in the centre of Birmingham I still rarely venture in. Personally, I find working from out of town business parks very dull because...

    The Ship Aground Micropub.

I think you get what you pay for. Ship Aground, Candid and Tap house are offering beer that you won't find in many other places and they sell beer from the small breweries, hence the higher prices. Having said that Candids larger is actually cheaper than some of the beer sold at some other...

    The Ship Aground Micropub.

100% agree. I was in the Ship Aground on Friday and had a lovely pint of a Pollys beer. If you want to drink cheap crappy larger or naff real ale there are plenty of alternatives to go too. I'd rather drink quality beer.

Stafford Rangers - New Start and The Way Forward.

It's much better than hoof ball to no one.

Stafford Rangers - New Start and The Way Forward.

I enjoy watching Brocton Fc and go whenever Stafford Rangers are not playing. They've got a lovely set up and play football on the floor.

    Thawa Bridge.

    Brilliant food.

The Greyhound Inn, County Road, Stafford.

Rangers weren't very mighty today, however the pub looks very nice. I will pop in before the next home game.
