Indeed. A couple of weeks ago I was in the main PO and needed to get my passport application checked...I was first greeted by one woman who waved me onto her colleague next to her. He was slouched in his chair and hardly lively! I told him what I wanted and he replied with "Oh, do I have to?"...

I haven't eaten at KFC/McDonalds/Burger King for about 7 years. The stuff is vile and hardly appetising. I'd sooner find a nice pub to eat a burger in whilst downing some fine ales
