Well as you present such a compelling argument then you must be correct and it must be the Northumberland tourist board who are cooking the books.

Alnwick sees around 350,000 visitors each year. Outside of Christmas I would say the number to Haughton is negligible

Demolish and rebuild. When someone I know was at a meeting that first discussed the purchase of the guildhall, the plan was to buy, demolish and rebuild with a focus on residential but with also a small number of amenities. That may have changed recently as the person is no longer part of that...

When things like this pop up I try to work out what isn't being said. There are so many 5 and 6 bed HMOs in Stafford and none of them in Stafford (apart from one very obvious exception on Wolverhampton Road) give off anything to be concerned about.

12 bed seems large but HMOs aren't a hot bed of crime, they can be young professionals that can't afford their own place.

Went to see The George Harrison Story at the Gatehouse last night, it was excellent. Really good show.
