Sorry folks, but is there anyone out there that may be able to help a little. I am in urgent need of some children's Witches or Wizards fancy dress items for my kids 'Book Day' at school. I can't really justify forking out for 3 costumes at a time of year when they aren't readily available either.

I need to dress them up for Thursday the 3rd. If you do have something that would help I could even return it if need be. Any help much appreciated.

Please text me on 07730 441358 if you might be able to help.

Make them?

I'd say you can probably make somthing pretty good in about 1hr using stuff from round the house.. The hats might be a bit more problematic so if you want I have two you can borrow...
Theres plenty of guides on how to repurpose stuff into Halloween costumes online if you search- Instructables has some very nice tutorials.. My kid has to dress up on friday for book day, be thankful your kids are not asking to be a twenty tone steam train :(

I've a feeling your kids may go to the same school as mine - My youngest has to dress up as a fairy tale character on Thursday. How old are the kids cause both mine dressed up as witches last year - so should be able to find two outfits that'd fit a 5(ish) year old and a 10(ish!) year old - I have two brooms too.

I'd definitely need them back though as they are in the kids dress up box and they'd be missed!

Thank you Ladies for your ideas, and especially to Emma for the loan. Both your generosity is very much appreciated. I think we'll just about get there with all the costumes now. Bloody schools should have a stockpile of these costumes.... Would save me a fortune. In my opinion finding outfits for three kids to dress up every time is not fair really, but thanks again!!

Ah, probably a bit late in the day now but, I own one of these badboys http://www.8ball.co.uk/harrypotter.b.html but my son is pinching it for World Book Day himself, with a cloak and wooden owl (no broomsticks to hand)..leaves me without a costume now.
