I think I lurked for about a year before I actually signed up! Whether I've provided a valuable contribution since signing up though is a matter of opinion haha :P

I lurk a lot..... Not lived in Stafford long so like to see what's happening and glean bits of 'insider' knowledge.....

Lady Thatcher will not be seeing Sarah Palin. That would be belittling for Margaret. Sarah Palin is nuts.

I have to admit i am more of a lurker these days than contributing so i guess this is the ideal thread to break that practice!!
As always, the posts on here are a great mix of interesting, topical and irrelevant humour but since i dont get much time at all these days to get on i spend most of it catching up on passed posts leaving no time for comments so end up just lurking :(

And current status 1 - 21 to the guests

I'm a lurker most of the time - then when I do log in I forget to logout again - sometimes been logged in for days without being here .
No-one will no whether I'm here or not :ninja:

Probably newletter journalists sourcing their articles for Thursdays edition.
Hopefully! Stafford Forum has appeared in their Blogwatch section for a couple of weeks in a row now, and it's always nice to get a mention. :)

We had over 90 'guests' at one stage yesterday! I suspect it's a combination of:

Me making more of an effort on the Stafford Forum Twitter.
Stafford FM mentioning us, both on air and on their Twitter.
Us appearing in Andrew Wakefield's excellent Blogwatch section in The Newsletter.
And last but not least (in fact, probably most), an increase in spam-bots as a result of our increased online prevalence.

:)
